My First Blog

Well, this is my first blog post. I keep a daily journal already, so I guess instead of just ranting here, I'll try to put up excerpts from my journal times that will hopefully be helpful for others. If nothing else, it will help you to get to know the real me better. A group of friends from church and myself have been reading the book "Waking the Dead", by John Eldredge (WTD). I rarely take much out of books like this, but I was surprised by how much this book truly stirs the heart and searches out the motivations behind why I do the things I do. I highly recommend it. Read it. It's good. ;) Most of my revalations of belief lately have come about as a result of reading this book, so anyone familiar with the book will probably notice a lot of similarities between WTD and these posts. That's not an accident. Well, I've got to get back to work now. Laters.
