Serial Killer or Cute and Cuddly?

For anyone who is now scared to go near my house for fear of Nutmeg, I want to let you know that he doesn't actually carry guns and knives.  He's just a crazy, adorable kitty cat.

Psycho Killer

OK, enough politics for now.  Today I'm going to talk about cats.

I have two really crazy cats, but the cream colored one, Nutmeg, is absolutely psycho!  Someone once told me that cats only eat meat products.  That's totally NOT true.  Nutmeg eats all sorts of weird stuff.  Tofu, minced garlic, sweet potatoes... you name it, he eats it.  Except for crickets.  He just kills those and leaves them around the house.  Although he sometimes eats their legs.

I don't have any pictures of him on hand, but he looks kind of like this:

Decision 2004

As the November elections near, I want to let everyone know about some good resources for voters.

First of all, a couple of really good web sites for finding out the truth about the candidates are:
http://www.issues2000.org/
http://www.factcheck.org/

Kerry has a good book called "A Call to Service":

I also recommend Bob Woodward's two books on the Bush white house:
Bush at War: http://tinyurl.com/4dxvc
Plan of Attack: http://tinyurl.com/473c2

Secondly, since abortion is often a really important issue to people, here are some really good resources on that topic:

The National Right to Life Coalition:
http://www.nrlc.org
Planned Parenthood fact sheets on abortion:
http://www.plannedparenthood.org/library/factsheets.htm#01Abortion
The Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act -- Misconceptions and Realities
http://www.nrlc.org/abortion/pba/PBAall110403.html
Planned Parenthood congressional Pro-choice scorecards:
http://www.ppaction.org/ppvotes/Scorecard.html

Thirdly, if you miss any of the debates, I've got them on tape, so just ask, and I'll get them to you.  Or, you can listen to the debates (and convention speeches) on the website for National Public Radio:
http://www.npr.org/templates/topics/topic.php?topicId=11
VP Debate:
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4060480
1st Presidential Debate:
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4055740

I hope this helps everybody in the difficult task of deciding who to vote for.

Grace and peace,
Jason
